CCCP

CCCP started life as a TV production company, but after we made the cult hit series 6pack for Heineken we moved into the business of advertising as well. But instead of being just another agency, we like to refer to ourselves as your mistress. You’ve got your regular agency. Come to us for some excitement. We’ve been doing this for HEMA for quite some time now, and also for D.E., Natuurmonumenten, TomTom, Hi-Tec, ABN, Unilever, to name a few.

We’re a big believer in ‘viral’, in the sense that it’s stuff that people love to talk about. The web is obviously the central place to spread the word. But it doesn’t mean an idea should start there.

HEMA shoplift top 5

For instance, when HEMA wanted to deal with shoplifting, we launched an online film clip in which we celebrated the 10.000th shoplifter.


Then we created a ‘HEMA top 5 most nicked products’. This instantly caught the attention of the Dutch media. The buzz was complete.

HEMA webshop

Then HEMA asked us to make a viral to promote their new webshop. Instead of just creating a film about the webshop, we turned the webshop itself into a viral.

We sent the link to our friends and before we knew it the site appeared on thousands of blogs, got tens of millions of views and picked up some nice awards including a Cannes Lion and a Webby for the year’s best viral.

Make a metre

Recently we just launched a web project for Natuurmonumenten (the Dutch Nature Preservation Organisation). To raise awareness for the declining Dutch nature we asked people to spread nature online and help us built the biggest website ever.

We just started to seed the website and already got a great number of people signing up for it. And even better, getting Natuurmonumenten new members.

HEMA Doodles

Something else we like to do is to mobilize the fans of a brand. Some call it co-creation, some call it user generated content. We think of it as a way for fans of the brand to spread their love to others.


For HEMA school products, we invited some kids to send in their doodles they made out of boredom during school. Then, we created a whole campaign out of the doodles, attracting even more doodles from all over the country. We created posters, an online gallery and a real gallery for the doodles. In the end, the best doodles were used to create a complete new line of school products, available in stores. The doodle school collection became an instant hype.
